Formula 1 fans have gone nuts over the decision to change the points system. There is a lot of criticism from all quarters. The drivers and teams are not happy about it and want a reversal of the changes. Alonso also thinks the same. He is sure that the fan base may decline as they might be losing their interest. He wants the F1 authorities to change it and get back to the usual scoring system. Hope the reversal is made sooner than later!!!

Eco-friendly is not the word just related to every individual who feels responsible to save the earth. This even applies to the Formula One motor sports. Yes they indeed turned up to save the earth by reducing the amount of pollutants from the cars. They even are planning to use bio fuels to reduce the emission of carbon monoxide from the cars. Honda was the first team to be very much concerned about the earth and even had used special graphics over their cars. These graphics were depicting the greenery of the earth and having a caption of save earth.Infact Honda was so generous to lose all their sponsor advertisements over their car. These advertisement place were used for the save earth campaign logo.
Formula one car are extremely powerful they have a V12 engine that emits lot of energy and also heat and sound.Infact the sounds produced by these cars are very much harmful to hear directly and the fans were given some extra ear buds to protect their ears during the race. These sounds are also in very high decibel rates that when heard produces lot of side effects. The heat energy is also very much high that it creates an artificial hot temperature over the tracks.

Formula one has been very much respected in many countries. To prove this there is a recent instance happened. The Finland post office has issued two new stamps to commemorate Kimi Raikkonen’s world championship success in the year 2007.A million of such stamps have been produced already but still the post office is forced to print more because of the huge demand from Formula one fans in Japan. This is not the first time the Finnish postal service has honored one of its drivers. When Mika Hakkinen triumphed in the late90’s, he also featured on a set of stamps. Other countries have produced special formula one sets too. In Britain last year the royal mail issued a set featuring six British drivers. Nigel Mansell was the most expensive stamp, costing 78p.And, bizarrely, the former soviet state of Tajikistan once released a set of stamps commemorating the Monaco GP.Raikkonen was so much happy about the issue of his postal stamps.” When I was a small boy sending Christmas cards to people, I never thought that one day I would have a stamp with myself on it,” said Raikkonen. So if you are crazy about Formula one and you live in Finland, then you could now post with a special Kimi Raikkonen stamp for just 65 pence.
